How does your work demonstrate exploration of your idea?
My work demonstrates exploration of my idea by looking at different aspects of it. I looked at physical, emotional, and mental fragility. Our bodies, hearts, and minds can all break down, and I addressed all of these scenarios. In the pieces with guns I tried to show that life can be taken away from you in a single second. In the shattered heart and divorce pieces I showed how difficult love can be and how trying it can be to the heart. The Fragile X Syndrome and Lost pieces represent the mental frailty. I also viewed how fragile the world around us is in the cracking of the ground pieces. Sometimes we lose our balance which is shown in the tightrope walker falling off. There are all different aspects and I tried to get a snapshot of each of them. The element of lines is very important in each piece. The lines represent the line of crossing into insanity, or finally tipping, crashing, or breaking. This is how my work demonstrates exploration.

What is the central idea of your concentration?
The central idea of my concentration is the fragility of life. I try to highlight the moments when things are on the verge of breaking. Life is precious; a gift.  I want each second to be epic, because you never know if it will be your last. My goal was to inspire people to reflect back upon their own lives and come to the same inclusion I did; I want to live a fulfilling life to the fullest, before and after it shatters.  Psalm 119:138 says, "The way you tell me to live is always right; help me understand it so I can live to the fullest." Without regrets, without fears, but with reckless abandon in the way of the Lord is how I want to live. What about you?
